A new tourist destination for Lithuanians ;)

Myanmar is all the rage right now. The old dictatorship is out and the new government is in. The property prices are soaring. Places like Mandalay are for all to visit now.

The situation perhaps is somewhat similar to what was in Lithuania and the rest of Eastern Europe some 20 years ago. Similarities do not end here - Lithuania at some point claimed to be a bridge between Russia and the Western Europe, Myanmar can claim to be the bridge between India and China ;)

Even the flag of Myanmar is new as of 2010. Would this not be a reason to visit Myanmar sporting our Lithuanian flag (which probably would get you some friends)?  Pretty cool, huh?
